I believe in honesty at all cost. I know that it is less painful for someone to hear the truth, then for them to learn that you lied, for whatever reason, and now they have the pain of the truth as well as the pain of the lie. Honesty may put on a friendship on hold while the other person takes the necessary time to deal with it, but most of the time, it builds a stronger relationship. Lies do nothing but destroy a relationship when the truth is discovered and eventually it is. Always be honest….people will respect you for it, admire you for it, and most of all, they will know they can depend on you and trust you.
